

New push to protect sharks at Tuna Commission
Honolulu-Another push is being made at Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC) this year for an agreement on a comprehensive shark management measure. The incidental catch of sharks while targeting other fish such as tuna has become a serious threat to the species.
